Overview of the Wine
Intimately linked to Chateau Phelan Segur, La CroixBonis comes from selected parcels at the property. Made principally from Merlot, the wines are aged for 12 months. A fine expression of the Saint-Estephe appellation, La Croix Bonis is a fleshy, supple wine, very fruity with well-integrated tannins. It can be enjoyed after 3 to 8 years.

This is the second wine of the Phélan-Ségur estate. With its firm tannins and layers of wood aging, it is a wine that will need time. At this stage, the wine is dry although the rich berry fruits offer intensity and the potential for a fine wine. Drink from 2020.
