1. TAITTINGER, BRUT RESERVE "LA FRANCAISE" CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE NV
Winemaker's Tasting Notes

This Champagne is a blend of some 30 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards, respectively 40% and 60% of the total, from several harvests of perfectly ripened grapes.

91 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The NV Brut Reserve La Française is based on 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, all fermented in stainless steel and blended with 30% of reserve wines. It is a pure, fresh and well-structured Brut that seems more elegant, complex and round than the Brut Réserve. The persistent finish is clear, fresh and well structured, with refreshing lemon flavors and a nice grip. My sample was said to be bottled in 2014 and disgorged in March 2017 with nine grams of dosage. There is good length and tension here as well as sweet cherry aromas in the aftertaste.

2. DOMAINE WEINBACH, PINOT GRIS, CLOS DES CAPUCINS, ALSACE, FRANCE 2019
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Shows delicate fruity notes such as pear and peach with empyreumatic and buttery aromas. This light-to-medium-bodied Pinot Gris expresses a pure balance between sweetness and acidity, which leads to a long-lasting finish and a mouth-watering sensation.

90 Points - Wine Spectator
A light-bodied version, with snappy acidity creating a lively frame for the flavors of nectarine, Asian pear, rose petal and spicy mineral. A hint of almond shows on the juicy finish. Drink now. 300 cases imported.

3. CHAMPALOU, VOUVRAY, LOIRE, FRANCE, 2022
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
With the Classic, it is a fresh and fruity wine that expresses itself.

The combination of freshness and delicate fragrances allows it to be served with grilled white fish and meats, shellfish, vegetable tians and Japanese dishes. Also, ideal for an aperitif.

4. CHATEAU TERRE FAUVE, 'BEL AIR FAUVE' FRONTON ROUGE, FRONTON, FRANCE, 2020

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Composed of 60% Negrette, 30% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines planted in sandy and clay soils. Low-intervention winemaking with native yeast fermentation, low sulfites and aged in large concrete tanks. A classically medium-bodied style with earthy and smoky overtones from the region of Fronton

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Vinification in oak and concrete tanks. Extraction by pneumatic punching down. Vatting for 40 days. Aging on fine lees, carried out in French oak barrels (30% new). The Chateau d'Aiguilhe vineyards extend over almost 90 hectares in the heart of the Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux appellation. The vineyard is exclusively planted in clay-limestone and clay-loam soils.

93 Points - James Suckling
A solid density of fruit with blackberry, white pepper and some salt. Walnut undertones. Very long and flavorful. Compact palate. Very well done.
